Best Pumpkin Patches in St. Augustine: Fall Fun, Corn Mazes & Family Activities for 2026
Fall may arrive a little differently in Florida, but that doesn't mean we miss out on pumpkin season. St. Augustine and St. Johns County offer several places to pick out the perfect pumpkin, take fall photos, explore a corn maze, and enjoy family-friendly activities.
If you're looking for the best pumpkin patches near St. Augustine, Florida, here are a few local favorites to add to your fall calendar.
Sykes Family Farms Crop Maze
For the full fall-farm experience, it's hard to beat Sykes Family Farms in nearby Elkton.
The Sykes Family Farms Crop Maze has returned and continues through November 1, 2026. The centerpiece is a massive nine-acre crop maze filled with twists, turns, and themed questions to help guide you through. Sykes has been offering its "agritainment" experience since 2010, and it has become one of the area's most popular fall traditions.
There's plenty to do beyond the maze. General admission includes activities such as hayrides, a kiddie cow train, duck races, farm animals, slides, bounce pads, a playground, and other farm activities. There's also a Pumpkin Barn where pumpkins can be purchased, along with U-pick flowers, food vendors, live music on select dates, and a Sunday vendor market.
One of the coolest ways to experience Sykes is on a Friday night, when the farm stays open for Glow Nights from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Bring a flashlight or glow stick and tackle the maze after dark for an entirely different experience. Saturdays run from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., while Sundays are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
General admission for 2026 is $16.99 for ages three and older, while seniors 65+ and military members with ID are $14.99. Children two and younger are free. Pumpkins, U-pick flowers, food, and Country Store purchases are separate.
If you're searching for a corn maze near St. Augustine or a full day of fall family activities in St. Johns County, this would be my top local pick.
First United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
For a classic pumpkin patch right in the heart of Historic Downtown, First United Methodist Church offers one of the most convenient options in town.
Located at 118 King Street, near the corner of King and Riberia streets, the church fills its grounds with pumpkins in a variety of sizes and price points each fall. The 2026 patch operates daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. until the pumpkins are gone.
Its downtown location also makes this an easy stop to combine with lunch, shopping, or an afternoon exploring Historic St. Augustine.
Shores United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
Another longtime local option is the pumpkin patch at Shores United Methodist Church at 724 Shores Boulevard in St. Augustine Shores.
Pumpkins will be available through October 31. The patch is open from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays. Admission is free, so you can simply stop by, browse the pumpkins, and enjoy the fall atmosphere.
The church will also host its Trunk or Treat on October 30 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., giving families another Halloween activity to add to the calendar.
